Home Health Care Grand Blanc MI
Our comprehensive home care program is designed to meet the special needs of each individual throughout the life span. From infancy through maturity, we will customize a plan of care that assists each client to remain in the comfort of his or her own home. Our emphasis is on promoting safety, independence, and dignity, while providing services in a cost-effective manner. Client care begins with a free assessment by a professional skilled nurse. Our comprehensive home care program includes the following available services:
For clients where technical skills ARE NOT necessary. This includes clients requiring companionship, errands, medication reminders, safety needs, transportation, very light duty clean up and very light meals.
For clients where technical skills ARE NOT necessary. This includes clients requiring assistance with eating, assistance with housekeeping and meal preparation. Companion Sitter duties may be performed in addition.
Home Health Aid
For clients who REQUIRE minimal technical skills. This includes clients who need assistance with ambulation, personal care, and range of motion. Companion Sitter and Homemaker duties may be performed in addition.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
For clients who REQUIRE more advanced technical skills. This includes clients who need assistance with blood sugar testing, assistance with colostomy care, assistance with skin care or require vital sign measurements. Companion Sitter, Homemaker, and Home Health Aide duties may be performed in addition. A Certified Nursing Assistant may also be utilized upon client request or to satisfy insurance reimbursement requirements.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
For clients who REQUIRE the skill and/or education of a licensed nurse. This includes clients who need ongoing assessment of a medical condition, blood sugar monitoring, bowel program, chest tube care, injections, medical and/or health teaching, medication administration, medication (pill box) setup, suctioning, tracheotomy care, urinary catheterization, ventilator care, wound care or require tube feeding. Companion Sitter, Homemaker, Home Health Aid, and Certified Nursing Assistant duties may be performed in addition. A Licensed Practical Nurse may also be utilized upon client request or to satisfy insurance reimbursement requirements.
Registered Nurse (RN)
For clients who REQUIRE the skill and education of a registered nurse. This includes clients who require case management IV drug administration, insertion of NG tube, PICC/central line care, tracheostomy change, or venipuncture. Companion Sitter, Homemaker, Home Health Aid, and Certified Nursing Assistant duties may be performed in addition. A Registered Nurse may also be utilized upon client request or to satisfy insurance reimbursement requirements.
For clients who REQUIRE assistance with large motor function. This includes clients who require rehabilitative exercises, evaluation and training for assistive devices, range of motion, or mobility evaluation and training. They MAY NOT initiate care.
For clients who REQUIRE assistance with small motor function. This includes clients who need assistance with activities of daily living and/or adaptive equipment. They MAY NOT initiate care.
Services can be provided on a per visit basis to 24 hour care. We accept most long-term care insurance, worker’s compensation, auto insurance, some private insurance, and cash payments. We welcome you to call for our fee schedule.
